    Default La Fiset SBS

    Part 1

Kind of a Hornberg variant from Guy Fiset (I think; my French is non-existent). Saw the double flank feather wing on a video; makes for a nice cloaking effect. The golden pheasant tippet hackle is interesting.

    hook - Mustad 79580 #6
    thread - Danville 6/0 black
    body - tinsel silver
    underunderwing - calftail yellow
    underwing - mallard flank
    wing - teal flank
    hackle - golden pheasant tippets

mash barb, start thread, tie in tinsel; wrap to bend and back, tie off/trim

even tips on a clump of calftail, measure (tips just past bend, trim to length (dose with Sally), tie in

measure (gap width past bend) a mallard flank; tie in, let it encircle the body

    repeat with teal flank; trim
