    Default Grizzly Population Growth

Interesting article on the rise of grizzly numbers, the expansion of their range and how it will lead to increased interaction with humans.

And I am a bit "on the fence" regarding the Grizz. Having experienced TWO shorts changing encounters, one in Grand Teton and another in Y'Stone, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with their increasing numbers. They are a beautiful animal if not in their appearance then in their presence and role in the grand scheme of the Parks etc. I'll just leave it up to the Parks Service etc. to evaluate and handle the situation.
And, now, just in case, I NEVER fish/hike etc. in any areas with known bear population without adequate protection.
