    Default Dyeing Sheep

I aquired some dall sheep hair. I was wondering if it can be dyed to another color from its original white. Does anyone have experience w/ this type of hair? If so, what brand name dye and what is the process.

    FC,

Just be careful the dye solution isn't too hot or the hair will become very brittle.

    Tyeflies,
Thanks for your reply. I just left a message for you on your post for EVENTS COMING UP. Maybe we'll meet there.

    FC,

By the way, here is a recipe for a very good 'Coffin Fly'. May come in handy. It's a recipe I learned from Larry Duckwall.

    Hook - dry, size 10 1xl
thread - white body, black head
tail - black hair (bear, calf or similar)
body - Dall sheep, spun and clipped
    wing - same as tail
    hackle - silver badger (2 or 3)
