Working on muscle memory after being off for a month. Trying to keep it simple but no reason they can't be pretty.




hook - Mustad 3399A #12
thread - Danville 6/0 black
rib - x-small wire silver
tail - woodduck flank
body - dubbing muskrat
hackle - hen brown
wing - woodduck flank


Part 1

mash barb, start thread; tie in rib, wrap to bend







strip some woodduck fibers, measure (gap width past bend); tie in/trim










dub thread/dub body










tie in hackle; wrap to bend










wrap rib thru hackle, helicopter end/cover with thread

prep woodduck flank; measure (halfway back on tail)










trim, whip finish, SHHAN
