Thompson Cobra question

How does one swing the Cobra's bobbin holder out of the way when not in use? It looks as if you have to remove it from the vise given how it mounts through the little hole in the frame. I mean, you can't just swing it away from you and out of the way, can you? Thanks - Alec

Flytackle: yes it can be swung out of the way ; it swings on a verticle plane unlike most other styles whih swing horizontally. I find the vertical swing especially handy doing things like palmering because the bobbin is still being held by the cradle in the swung out of the way position. Unfortunately I don't have a pic to show this but will try to get one to show you.
