Olive No Hackle Size; dependant on weather conditions

Back Up in case weather demands. Hare and copper Nymph.

Or I could just use a Jax Roughy and confuse the trout"G" Jax

    Jax,

A No Hackle may not be the best choice if you have to fish with that single fly (not single pattern) all day

My choice: CDC&Elk. Fish dry, damp or wet - and tough as old boots

    Cheers,
    Hans W

    aah yes.
and what an excellent article that was.

and I see you selected two former winners.
I guess you could say your choice is shrewd.

I would have to go with a very well tied EHC in size 16. You have the choice of fishing it wet or dry and its a fish getter both ways. 8T
