This is indeed an enticing book which allows us a better glimpse of the man behind the myth of G.E.M. Skues also much of the information in these letters has remained unpublished until the letters were edited by C. F. Walker.

It sure looks interesting. I fish upstream behind the fish that are facing upstream so as not to be in their line of sight. It seems Skues had a good idea.

One of my favorite books The Dry Fly and Fast Water has many letters between the author George La Branche and MR. Skues
from 1925 to 1947 , quite enjoyable to read.

BTW an excellent review , another one I must have.
