Amazon Peacock Bass Fishing Preparation

Heading to the Amazon to fish for peacock bass next month.
Getting gear all situated and a stack of big flashy flies.

Anyone have any good advice for the trip?
Travel out west every year for trout so this is not my first time, but it is my
First time to a place like this.

If you have not done so already, search Dan Blanton's site for articles about peacock bass. There have been several trip reports posted there.

Only fished for them in the canals of south Florida but they were a blast. You're going to have a great time; hope to see some pics.
