I can't see if I've asked this before, but what hooks to you recommend on which to tie pike flies?

I like a hook with a long shank. I've tied several of mine on Partridge Pike hook, 2/0 or 4/0, not sure they make them anymore. I've also used Gamakatsu straight shank worm hooks. 1/0 to 3/0 and 3/0 Aberdeen style hooks.

The Perch is about 8 inches, the white one is 6 inches. That's not the style hook I use, the ones I use are straight shank, they're listed in the Barlow's catalog as Gamakatsu 101 Worm hook or Gamakatsu 464 Worm hook, not sure Walmart would carry them. The one on the Walmart site appears to be the Gamakatsu 544 worm hook. It runs about $5 cheaper for 25, but if you add in the cost of shipping it, the Walmart price is cheaper.
