    Default Ostermann's RDH Sedge SBS

Similar to the RDH Stone with a Henry's Fork Hopper body and optional legs. Tied as an October Caddis; if the fires haven't shut down all the rivers up here over the next few weeks, may give it a try, in addition to foam stuff.

    hook - Dai Riki 280 #10
    thread/rib - UTC 140 burnt orange
abdomen/wing/hackle - deer hair dyed orange
    legs - medium rubber orange

    Part 1

mash barb, start thread at 2/3 mark; wrap to bend and back

clean, stack, trim tips on a clump of deer hair; tie in by tip with a couple loose wraps, allowing the hair to encircle the shank

    wrap to point above barb

pull butts forward, encircling shank, spiral rib back to tie in; tie off/trim butts

clean, stack, measure (tips gap width past bend) a clump of deer hair; tie in/trim butts

    tie in legs
