    Default Blackjack Creek TR

Not the real name; it's on Map 21 of the Montana Gazetteer (2013 edition). This close to the border, I thought a little Guess Who (Wheatfield Soul) was in order.

closer to the highway, it's gentle water and pretty wide open

a few cutts; nothing of any size but they appreciate foam things

farther up, things get a bit tighter and the flies aren't the only foam on the water

not a lot of fish looking up, but those that did were of pleasing proportions

when you come to a fork in the road, take it

with temps in the low 90's, the shade was appreciated (wading wet kept things cooler, too)

    neat find

end of the line for the day (about 15 more miles of road to explore another time)

    Regards,
    Scott

I lost three flies and caught 2 trouts just by LOOKING at the pictures.

    John,
Whatever you gleaned from my post could not have been caused by "cheap booze". Possibly by "fine whiskeys" but certainly not by "cheap booze".
