    Default Snody's PMD Emerger SBS

Found Michael Snody's all pink version (specific to the South Fork Snake River) in Bruce Staples Flies for the Greater Yellowstone Area; neat use of LaFontaine's gas bubble for the thorax. Tied here in more traditional PMD colors.

    hook - Dai Riki 320 #16
thread - Danville 6/0 pale yellow
    rib - x-small wire copper
    shuck - Congo Hair brown
    tail/abdomen - pheasant tail
    thorax - Superfine dubbing PMD
    bubble - antron yarn
    hackle - hen pale dun

    Part 1

mash barb, start thread at 1/2 mark, tie in CH; fold over, tie in rib, wrap to bend, trim shuck (gap width past bend)

measure (shank length) some pt fibers; tie in, wrap to 1/2 mark, tie off/trim

counterwrap rib; helicopter end cover with thread

surround shank with a hank of antron yarn; tie in
