    Default Bullethead Shipman Buzzer SBS



    Found this on the Fly Tying Journal site.

    hook - Dai Riki 135 #14
    thread - Danville 6/0 rusty brown
    shuck/gills - Congo Hair white
    rib - Mirage Tinsel opal
    body - dubbing rusty brown
    head/wing - deer hair

    Part 1

    mash barb, start thread at head; tie in CH




    clean, stack, measure (shank length) a clump of deer hair; trim to length, tie in on top of hook






    tie in rib; wrap to bend




    dub thread/dub abdomen to 2/3 mark






    counterwrap rib; tie off/trim




    dub thorax, finish at 2/3 mark
