thread - Danville 6/0 black
tail - variegated moose body
abdomen - Danville flat wax brown
rear hackle - grizzly
thorax - dubbing tan
wing - teal flank
front hackle - ginger (oversize by 1)


Part 1

mash barb, start thread a little past 1/2 mark, wrap to point above barb




clean, stack, measure (shank length) some moose body fibers; tie in/trim, create abdomen






start black thread, trim brown, tie in hackle; wrap, tie off/trim






dub thread/dub thorax






measure (tips to bend) some teal flank fibers; tie in/trim
