The Big Run Off
I keep waiting for the big run off in the rivers of Washington and Montana.
Across WA, the mountains still hold 148% of normal snow (water) level. Across Montana, the mountains contain 121% of normal.
Let's get this big flush over with so we can get to fishing.
Looks like maybe, just maybe, the time is at hand. The next 5 days we are going to be having some really hot days, way above normal for us, over here in WA. That should get the snows to melting, but I hope not too much because that results in massive flooding.
I hear the Clark Fork River in western Montana calling my name and I want to go over there and do some serious fishing. Maybe in a month or so.
