    Default Lost Fishing Buddy

I lost a good fishing buddy last month. Marc Martyn loved his fly fishing and coffee. I miss our conversations at Starbuck's or Thomas Hammer. The talks we had over coffee were life centering and enjoyable. They were almost as enjoyable as the short fishing trips we took together. Rest in Peace old friend. I'll see you one day soon.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

I can certainly understand. A fly fishing buddy of mine passed a couple years ago totally unexpectedly. We had met on the Henry's Fork for many, many years to fish together. Miss him a lot!

Sorry Joe. I know the feeling and unfortunately it happens more often as we get older.

Sorry to hear about your friend Joe. Friends like that are few and far between.

You know that your buddy will be with you on future trips, in a different way. My introduction to flyfishing was a friend who loved catching bluegills and bass on poppers. Today, I cannot get out a flyrod, whether for warmwater species or trout, without thinking of my friend and his family. Condolences and best wishes. . .
