Things Trout Like To Eat

There are 2 here the trout really like eating. What do you think?

If I can only pick two I would go with the Crane Fly and the Stone Fly. But then, that last picture has some good looking Caddis type bottom and I am not sure what that green thing is in the center of the photo but a large trout would most likely go for it as well.

On the other hand, fish are very often opportunists when it comes to eating and if it looks good they will take it. I know they like cicada, so that would be on their menu as well. Beetles are a good source of protein for them.

Toss a little chocolate on some of those and there are even people who would eat them.

brook lamprey. caught a nice brown once and he puked out a live one.
