Another neat Baltic seatrout pattern; mass substitutions for pretty much everything except the thread and mylar. Hadn't tried using the fluffy bottom part of the hackle before, as Eivind did; kinda gives a similar effect as an aftershaft (with the stem being so thick, 20 seconds in the microwave in a damp paper towel made it much easier to wrap). tail - bucktail white
butt - Craft Fur red
rear hackle - badger
body - large mylar opal
thorax - Ice Dub Harder's Bloody Black
front hackle - badger

With a decent hook, this could pass as a baby whitefish; worth a few swings around here
