Got out around 7:30, and it was chilly. I could see my breath. #southernproblems



The intentions were to fish this glass 2wt, a gift to myself.



And I hooked up*



Little guy that put a good bend in the rod



Not a moment after I released the fish, I found myself slipping and falling on my culo.



This happened to me with the last fish I caught on my last outing. So, two fish, two slams...

Lakes around here have between 4 and 6" of ice on them. If I can ever get all the gear I need for ice fishing, I'll head out and give it a try....

'Warm' here for now. Weather Underground said '7.5* Feels like 8*' must be what they mean by heat index. Looking to sub-zero highs in a few days, after the next storm system moves through. If you wake up in the morning and can't see your breath, either it's July or you're dead!
