    Default Bridges

What do you see when you look at a bridge? Of course the obvious comes to mind. What else do you see?

If you think this is a stupid question you should stop reading now.

Bridges can be seen in different ways depending on your mood and the place you are in your life at that moment.

You immediately see the angler in the photo and decided this photo is fishing related. This photo can be fishing related or maybe it brings back memories of a life event long ago forgotten.

    What do you see?

    Use your imagination.

That bridge can take you to places you have never been before.

    That bridge may be impassable

This bridge can take you to long ago.

This bridge can take you home.

The future and the past awaits. What are you waiting for?

I also have a fascination for bridges and often think about the design and what it took to build them. There's also thoughts of the history and purpose behind the self-constructed bridge especially, such as some of those pictured. Thanks for the post.

Know it isn't what you meant but my dad as Bridges was his last name. I lost him just about 18 months ago. On a more sunny note we have several covered bridges in my county that I thoroughly enjoy photographing as well as studying. Marvelous feats of engineering!
