Got a chance to harass the trout of the Provo today. Made a few of some local pattern called the usurper midge-minus the ribbing. Yay! Day off!

Nice Brown. Like that midge pattern - what size did you have to use. Love fishing the Provo up around Heber.

The pattern was on something like an 18 curved. Go small, but not "San Juan" small.

I used widows web in white for the wing case and twisted brown flashabou for the shuck, and didn't bother to rib it.
