Yes. Seems odd that they are discontinued. I love my 5 weight. I think, new, they were about 650 or so. You might look at the "for sale" section of this site. Someone has a 4 wt. offered at 300 which I think is a great deal.
I did own one and it is a great rod. Med Fast action and casts great. I replaced it with a Sage One.
Cost would be about $3-350.
I looked at one at a store near me. They only would come down about 35% or so but they did have a sage response in the weight I wanted and I already have an 8 wt so I thought what the heck. It was $200 cheaper and when I cast them both I could only tell a little difference. Hope I like this response!
I have a Response 6wt. It's really nice
I have a Response 7 weight. I like it a lot.
