Well now that's simply beautiful!! Nice choice of the base hardwood, it's rich in color and grain. And those jaws...now I'm not feeling so bad!!!

Assuming you have your vise in-hand, how long did it take to ship? My tracking hasn't updated in a week.

Took between 1.5 and 2 weeks for mine Jeremy. I think it depends on how smoothly it goes through customs.

Same experience as Byron. 10 to 14 days I believe not long at all.

Thanks. It's a bit like Christmas as a kid, there's much enjoyment in the wait!

Go to sleep real early so morning will come sooner..............I believe you can only use that tracking number to see when it reaches the final point in South Africa....then, dark side of the moon till it shows up on your doorstep. He does send things registered, so you have to be there or pick it up the next day at the post office.

I do recall that tracking # working again once the pkg hit New York.

Jay shipped mine on a Tuesday, and I had it Saturday. Five days total through Customs and on to the west coast.

Thanks all, it's appreciated. The wait makes it all the better.

i just got rid of two nice vises and my bride (of 36 yrs.) asked "Well, you've never actually seen one. What if you don't like it? You're not buying another one!!" ... shaking her head. I just told her she has too much common sense as she was walking back to her sewing room.

    It's on you Byron!
