    Default Ives' Meter Maid SBS



    Although labeled a Tasmanian "dry" fly, besides the hackle there's not much here to aid buoyancy; cool looking pattern, though.

    hook - Mustad 94840 #12
    thread - Danville 6/0 brown
    tail - woodduck flank
    body - Australian possum bleached ginger
    hackle - brown and quail

    Part 1

    mash barb, start thread, wrap to bend




    measure (hook length+) wooduck (2 fibers on each side); tie in/trim






    dub thread/dub body to 2/3 mark






    prep quail; tie in by tip
