    Default March Brown Emerger SBS

Found this over on the swittersb site. Original used the ribbing material for the butt which looked kinda meh so I swapped out for the tinsel. Mallard, pintail, widgeon etc could be used for the wing, too.

    hook - Dai Riki 320 #12
    thread - Danville 6/0 red
    butt - tinsel holo copper
    rib - Uni-stretch brown
    tail/back - pheasant tail
abdomen - dubbing march brown rabbit
    hackle - partridge
    wing - woodduck flank

    Part 1

mash barb, start thread; tie in tinsel and wrap to bend

wrap tinsel halfway down the bend and back; tie off/trim

    tie in rib

dub thread/dub body up to 1 eye width from eye

measure (shank length) some PT fibers; tie in

    spiral rib forward; tie off/trim
