Last trip, I didn't check before I left. Got to the beach to find a row of dead fish that spanned the entire length of the beach. It didn't really sink in until I came upon the first snook carcass. Heartbreaking.

That is heartbreaking for sure. What is Karena Brevis? Is it a one-time event caused by Mother Nature. So widespread. I'm sorry for you and all. I hadn't heard of this.
Red tide. It occurs randomly and is fairly common. Unfortunately, there are no known reasons why.
