driven by here about 5 times this summer to camp and hike, first time I've wet a line; one half-finned swipe but that's it. A nymph would probably drum up some business but that's not why I'm here






on to the next candidate




haven't been down this road in a few years; can't remember when this burned (maybe '06?)




still pretty chilly; surprised to find this guy out

biggest westslope I ever caught came from here but not today; no one came out to play




a few more hours of casting practice, epiphanies in short supply; at least the fishing gods let me spend some time in beautiful country
