    Default Frailey's PolyChuck Caddis SBS



    Combination of a Chuck, Iris and Clacka Caddis; kinda weird looking but comes from good parents. Tied here as a general attractor; change colors to suit your needs.

    hook - Dai Riki 320 #12
    thread - Danville 6/0 black
    body - peacock herl
    underwing - Congo Hair honey mustard (no kidding)
    wing - woodchuck
    hackle - brown/grizzly

    Part 1

    start thread; tie in peacock and wrap to bend






    twist peacock around thread and wrap to 2/3 mark






    form a loop with a hank of CH; measure (to bend), tie in/trim








    clean, stack, measure (gap width past bend) a clump of woodchuck guard hairs; tie in/trim butts



    Just a tourist passing through

    tie in hackles




    wrap, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN








    mash barb (duh!), trim out hackle underneath (optional)

    This is the best looking Easy Hopper pattern I have ever seen. Tie in some legs with the peacock and the hackle...
