Scott, have you ever tied with caribou?

I haven't tried spinning elk, yet. I have a large supply of caribou, thanks to my wife and a friendly taxidermist. I've done a BUNCH of muddlers in smaller sizes, and the caribou worked great.

    Allen,

I have; it's my favorite hair for tying Goddard Caddis. Caribou's great to spin/pack but the stuff I have is a bit ratty at the tips; for me, the elk worked better here.

    Regards,
    Scott

Scott, I like both versions, the large head seems more like a floater and the small head a wet version.

    How fun!!!! Like them, Scott!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.
