Jay, tks, the body is white wool 2/3, red wool 1/3.
The rest is just bleached Deer hair (head and tail), grey squirrel (under wing) and a couple of mottled cock neck feathers (wing).
I think my flies always turn out better when I keep it simple.

When I first started tying I read of the effectivness of two flies, The Muddler Minnow and the Goddard Caddis. I learnt to work with deer right away and for that first year fished these two patterns an aweful lot. Both are great trout catchers and I had a blast, although the flies were nothing special to down right aweful looking at first.
