Default Clark Fork River in Montana

I will be heading for the Clark Fork River in the St. Regis, MT area later. Right now it is still flowing fairly heavy with the spring runoff, flowing at 14,000 cfs, but two of my guides, Steve Temple of the Clark Fork Trout fly shop and guide service and Brooks Sanford, were out on Friday and they got 40 trout to the boat. So, the fish are hungry and will take dries and nymphs.

Often wished I were fishing that river as I drove by - beautiful country.

I lived on and fished the Clarks Fork in Belfry for years. Beautiful country
