Revived Stonefly Bobbin

This Stonefly bobbin was useless for almost five years because the "legs" would not hold the threaded spool in place and never provided enough thread tension. I tried rubber bands and was good for a time until I recently bumped my head and came up with the idea of using zip ties. Tension the zip ties with bobbin in place and with desirable thread tension. Use the weakest (8/0 thread?) thread when tensioning. I used a drop of CA on each bobbin leg to hold the ties in place. Works like a charm. Now this is one of my favorite bobbins in my arsenal.
