    Default Harrop's Ascending Caddis SBS

Tied here as a hydropsyche; change color/size to suit your needs. Bead head is optional for weighting.

    hook - Unknown (Daiichi 1140 or 1150?) #16
    thread - Danville 6/0 brown
    underbody - non-tox .015
    rib - x-small wire gold
    abdomen - Zelon dubbing hydropsyche
    shuck/shellback - marabou brown
    hackle - partridge
    antennae - woodduck flank
    head - dubbing brown

    Part 1

    mash barb, wrap non-tox

start thread, tie in rib, wrap to bend

dub thread/dub abdomen to 2/3 mark (part 2 seems to have disappeared into the either)

prep marabou tip; tie in at front of abdomen

pull marabou over back, capture tip with rib, continue up the abdomen, helicopter end, cover with thread; trim tips (gap width)
