Still waiting for creek (primary fishing water) to clear from recent rains, so a buddy and I hit the local lake behind shopping mall. The only fly I used until we were done was a yellow Bully's Bluegill Spider in size 12. Panfish & bass took on varied retrieves, depending on wind & sun. The majority of the fish hooked were right at the edge of a weedline, and beyond. Hooked some females that were plump with eggs, so the spawn should be near if the weather doesn't delay it. When a panfish hits the fly on a 4wt, you'll definitely notice it. Tight lines!
