Yes, I often do a few quick false casts to dry them and then let it float over a rise. Often works.
Have you already arrived there from Arizona? You still spend the summer in Livingston? It takes so long to get there from Last Chance, we usually stay on that side of the Divide.......except for West and fishing near there.
