Return to the water after long layup
Finally after almost three full years I will return to the water later this week. Since being forced into an early retirement my mental and physical health rapidly declined. I also lost my father, awesome brother in law, along with several close friends. I have several fish to catch and release in memory of them.
I ordered a new rod, reel and line for the occasion too. I think that first day will be tough but healing for the body along with the spirit. Wish me luck if you want to or if you are so inclined say a prayer for my successful return to the water.
