A CDC & Elk with a trailing shuck. When I tie Hans' pattern, I also twist the CDC feather when wrapping the first half of the hook shank to give the body a bit of a segmented look.

Beauty, simple and deadly.
I knew one tyer who swept the CDC to trail the fly. Sort of looked like a shuck.
A fly to add to the box when I go trout fishing.
