    Got this material in a bag of stuff that was given to me. No name on it.

    My guess is pearl palmer chenille. Wapsi and probably others make it. it comes in 2 sizes small and medium

    It's actually eyelash yarn that has been repackaged and repurposed for the fly tying industry. It comes in a WIDE variety of colors of which I think I have about half. If you keep an eye out at your local Michaels or Hobby Lobby, you can often find it for about $4.00 for 50-60 yards... or you can look online at Fly Tying Web sites and pay that much for about 3 yards. Just thought...

    Makes a mean streamer body. Just tie it in and wrap it around the hook being careful to not trap fibers. Lots of movement and flash. Gives the appearance of bulk, but doesn't absorb water or add much weight.
