This is the traditional Kindle not the Kindle Fire (in any form). My understanding is that if you didn't upgrade by EOD yesterday you'll have to do a manual upgrade via computer (I've heard there are instructions on Amazon site), as Amazon will have blocked all Kindle's that didn't upgrade (I've heard rumors this patches a significant security issue which is why Amazon has blocked all devices without the upgrade).
