Seen on the tenkara USA site where they are now offering line holders for on rod line storage while moving from spot to spot..nice.. but instead of any of you spending 12.99 for"gear ties" go to home depot n get them for way less than that..knew I'd seen them elsewhere before... bought some tonight..n they are a two pack..not like those expensive hook keepers that come single packed..just spreading the word..

Cool, I like on rod line keepers, and my EZ-keepers have started to slip.

What size did you get? There are a bunch of sizes, and the TUSA pack comes with 7 ties: 3 2", 2 6" and 2 12". I'm not sure how many and how long you need for a line keeper. I'm guessing 2 6" for line winders and 1 3" for hook keeper.

The smallest works on all my rods unless you want one on the cork then the next size up also the idea of the larger size they sell was to fasten your rod tube to a bike or pack frame...

Since I just purchased a zimmerbuilt Tenkara sling lite.. I can now carry all the of my rods n all gear needed for a day trip..so say I end up smallmouth fishing in the late morning on some bigger water then catching trout on a small trib. Later in the evening where it's much tighter I have rods to handle it all! I'm going to love this so much!!! I should have sprung for the "guide model sling but it only added a couple pockets..n way more money..
