    Default Sorry to Bore Some, but too good to pass up

    This is a new video of Davie McPhail demonstrating the tying of the Bubble Caddis. It looks pretty deadly. A bit like the Clacka Caddis, but not too much. I think most tiers will enjoy watching this one!

    Thanks, Byron. I tie mine the same way except I've never used deer hair for the legs. I'm going to add the legs on a few and see how i like them. I've never found it necessary to tie on horns in the front.

    lots of patterns which include horns are omitted, but they sure add a "Caddis look". I think the best example of this is the Goddard Caddis.

    I don't think you're boring anybody. As I said on another thread, all of his videos are worth watching, and it's interesting to see which ones appeal to various folks.

    Because I don't fish a lot of adult caddis imitations, I might not have watched this one but for your recommendation.
