I have the same sort of slow navigating on said site with my 4yr old computer. On my Iphone with Tapatalk app, I can fly through the content, but it has its limitations, ie. can't initiate a new thread (can read and comment however). loads of data and Ads over there. I fly under the handle of "mike_r" on that board.

    Dave:
I've only been on it a short time. I see the pop-ups but I haven't had any issues with speed. I'm using Google Chrome to access it

Not to interrupt but...I down loaded Windows 10 from a online notification that it was free and easy to download...after I downloaded it I immediately had problems. I contacted a geek squad and they fixed my computer to the tune of $100+ and they told me I should have had a professional computer guy/business download to prevent virus attachments to the download

I use Firefox and I've added Adblock Plus to it and I have no issues at all on that site. I never get pop-ups there (or anywhere else for that matter) and it loads quite quickly.

I too have had problems with things being a little slow on that site, which is why I started searching and found this one.

    IndianaYakFish,

Welcome to the forum; hope you enjoy your stay.
I've checked out the North American tying forum a few times. It's a bit static over there; was hoping for a bit more activity/participation.

    Regards,
    Scott

I use NAFF as well. I was having some problems and sluggishness with NAFF (and other sites) using Chrome and Firefox and Windows 7. A lot of the problems seemed to be Flash related. However, I have upgraded to Windows 10 and it is much better. NAFF still isn't quite as snappy as this forum, but it's not a problem and I'm not seeing any pop-ups. The Windows 10 up date was very smooth and easy for me and, as mentioned, it significantly improved my web browsing performance.
