rear hackle - partridge
body - dubbing hare's ear
front hackle - partridge
bead - 3mm gold


Part 1

mash barb, slide on bead, jam a few wraps of non-tox inside back of bead to stabilize; start thread, wrap to bend





taper end of vernille with lighter





tie in vernille







tie in partridge by tip; wrap, tie off/trim







dub thread/dub body

That fly instills an ingredient (for me anyway) that would result in it catching fish, confidence. If you don't have confidence in a fly/bait/lure it will prove you right because it will not get wet long enough to catch many fish and a not so great lure you believe in will catch fish because you fish it.
