Ray, I think the impact on a small (relatively) waterfowl ingesting lead would be more significant than a 200 lb. person touching lead. I can't quite understand why folks would not simply opt for lead-free substitute weighting material if there is a real possibility that it could endanger waterfowl (part of our environment)................I believe they now make lead-free soldering materials as well.................
