Default Ogden UT area in mid to late June time frame?

Thinking of a possible mid to late June trip to the Ogden UT area. Anyone care to share if the local waters are fishable by then?

I enjoyed a trip out that way for work a few years back and really enjoyed the area and was hoping to get to fish on this visit.

    Take care,

    Shmang

All of them are fishable with the Ogden and Weber Rivers running clear by then. Also Pine View Reservoir up Ogden Canyon holds quite a variety of fish species with the Tiger Muskie at the top of the list. My favorite is the South Fork of the Ogden River above Pine View for some great action before the tuber hatch really swings into full bloom.

Home waters for me growing up and thru college years.

I Was born in Ogden and spent many years fishing the mentioned areas .Great country. I have been gone for so long I will not recommend a place. On the south end of Ogden is the town of Roy.In Roy is a Sportsman Ware House. Last time I was there there was a good bill board of where to go. worth checking

    Good Luck.

    Hi,
I lived in Ogden for 4 years and spent a lot of my free time fishing 3 rivers.
I found the rivers to be good and would rank them as follows:

    1. South Fork........way up above Ogden Canyon
    2. Ogden River.......along the Ogden Canyon
    3. Weber River........going out the other end of the City of Ogden.

You will be relatively close to many other good spots to fish. Up in Logan, the Logan River is nice. And, you won't be far from the Provo River.

Good luck to you. I'm sure you will enjoy your trip.
