I went to Starbucks tonight and I settled in with a cup of coffee and a book. The book was "The Telling of Waters" by a certain R.E. Long, who is reputedly known to this forum.

I have to tell you that it was an ideal book. The chapters are short and a great pleasure to read. Each being a quick read is a plus for a setting like a coffeehouse. I confess that I haven't finished it, but it won't be long now. There is a good mix of settings and types fly angling stories. I heartily recommend it if you are looking for a collection of short stories. Each chapter is like an hors d'oeuvre. You can easily wolf down a handful and still be up for more. And these have no calories or fat grams. Thank you, Mr. Long.
