Odd pattern. Have you seen McPhail's take on the style? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy5Wwb8cLmY

Oddly enough seems to resolve to old address http://www.danica.com/flytier. Probably should just delete and recreate sig.

    whatfly,

I've seen that video. Neil Patterson's pattern uses inexpensive, oversized hackles to tie the fly. It is not a hair hackle pattern.

    Thanks,
    Ed

The text is ok, but the link still points to the old Danica site. I think you need to re-edit your signature and use the "hyperlink" icon which allows you to paste in the new url in a dialog box.

Currently it shows up like this in the page source:

    <a href="http://www.danica.com/flytier" target="_blank">http://www.f</a>lytierspage.com<br />

    Ed,

Saw that but going to be tied pretty much the same way. Process is pretty well described here as well: http://castingaround.anthonynaples.c...-dry-fly-style. Interesting tie, but not something I'd ever fish myself.

    Bruce,

Really odd. I had retyped the relevant section in the .sig - same outcome.

    Color me confused,

You cannot edit the text directly in the Edit Signature dialog. You need to use the "Insert Hyperlink" icon. See examples in my new signature below. Top link goes to danica, bottom is correct.
    1. Open the Edit Signature dialog. Not easy to find, but you must have found it already.
    2. Select the url that you want to change. (or just delete it.)
    3. click the "link icon" above (earth and chain)
    4. a dialog box will open.
    5. replace the old url with the new one.
    6. click ok.
    Hope this helps

    Glad it worked.
Among the many, many great fly fishing websites, your http://flytierspage.com is a unique treasure. I hope every tier gets to see the work of all those great tiers.

    Thanks
