Mike, That is one aspect of moving from N.H. that I really miss and that is VERY hard to duplicate. We have some fall colors here in the North Georgia mountains, but it is not the same intensity of colors at all. As far south as I am in Georgia (Atlanta area), there are some Japanese Maples a couple of other species of tree that get bright colors, but most of them are faded compared to New England colors. That said, the next season that you will experience (winter), I don't miss so much. I can fly fish all year round here and almost always count of catching at least a few fish, even the warm water species. Good luck with your Pfleuger Medalist reel. I had one for years and they are almost indestructible. That is of course, if you don't take them apart
