    Default Getting old

    Childbirth at 65 +

With all the new technology regarding fertility recently, a 65-year-old friend of mine

was able to give birth . . .

When she was discharged from the Hospital and went home, I went to visit.

'May I see the new baby?' I asked 'Not yet,' she said, 'I'll make coffee and we can chat for a while first.?

Thirty minutes had passed, and I asked, 'May I see the new baby now??

    'No, not yet,' she said.

After another few minutes had elapsed, I asked again, 'May I see the baby now??

'No, not yet,' replied my friend.

Growing very Impatient, I asked, 'Well, when can I see the baby??

'WHEN HE CRIES!? she told me.

'WHEN HE CRIES?' I demanded. 'Why do I have to wait until he CRIES??

    'BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I PUT HIM, O.K. ? ! !'

Getting old is mainly between ones' ears. Buy a Dodge or a Camero ( 2 door of course) instead of a Buick or Mercury and you'll gain 10 years at least. It all about attitude and outlook.

Good luck finding a Mercury, they quit making them in January 2011. My mom who will be 90 next month still drives her Marquis. She has a 2004 wit 40000 miles on it.

AND, reserving the right to edit/reconsider my remarks, I just saw a Buick that didn't look to shabby either. Looked like it could haul a$$.

PS:Kudos to your 90 yo mom. But DO talk her into a trade for a Camero. It'll take 10 years off her growth rings and you'll have her around much longer.
