PT, Looks good there. Nice fish. Were you float tubing, boating or bank fishing?
I haven't been to the Virginias or Trumbull in a few years. My wife and I were just talking about going to Big Virginia with the new camera to capture the bald eagles. Jim
I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim

Whoa!!! That's a great fish. One of my favorite float tube lakes. Congrats on a unbelievable catch. Is that one of your own patterns? Thanks for the report.

We were fishing from a boat on Little Virginia...I like the elevation to spot cruising fish. Overall, the fishing was really tough on this trip. We spent a whole afternoon on the far side of Trumbull, where the scree and talus are, and only took two fish...I threw everything in my boxes at 'em. Jim Reid at Ken's told me that the stocking counts are way down - due to $$$ being diverted from the dept. to the CA general fund...
